How to Find the Right Commercial Plumbing Service

Commercial Plumbing Service

Looking for a commercial plumbing service? Find someone who can do right by your business.

When we think about plumbing emergencies, we usually think about our homes, but plumbing issues can and do arise in our commercial properties too. When they do, you need to have a commercial plumbing contractor who you can trust. But finding this person or company can be a challenge in itself. Before you go with the first option, the easiest option, or the cheapest option, read on for 7 tips to find the right person for your commercial plumbing service.

Recommended

When you start looking for a commercial plumbing service, ask around for recommendations. Ask your friends and family members, but also reach out to other local business owners. Ask them who they use and like and if they’ve worked with anyone they think you should avoid.

Licensed And Insured

Every plumber that you consider should have a valid license to operate in the field. If they can’t or wont provide you with proof of licensure, look for other options. They should also have liability and worker’s compensation insurance to protect themselves and you. If they don’t have insurance, you could be liable for any injuries or damages that occur during the work.

Reputable

Look for someone with a good professional reputation in the field. Once you have some names, read up on them on online review sites and at the Better Business Bureau.

Experienced

Experience is hugely important in the plumbing industry. When you’re looking for service providers, look for those that have been in business for a long time. New professionals may be just as highly trained, but there is no substitute for actual hands-on experience.

Qualified

Once you have the names of some service providers, you should also check their background. Ask about where they were trained – if they didn’t go through formal vocational training, consider other service providers instead.

Local

Having a plumber who is local to your commercial building might not seem like a big deal, but in an emergency, you will want them to be able to get there as quickly as possible.

Service

Finally, find a service provider who delivers excellent customer service while still being affordable. When you meet with them, they should be professional and respectful. They should be able to answer your questions knowledgeably. They should also be reachable in some way 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If nothing else, they should have an answering service that can get ahold of them in an emergency.
